The music industry has come to mutli- talented MC, producer- writer William Gone very swiftly; gaining first-hand experiences under the guidance of mentors and peers such as Fab Five Freddy, and Roy Cormier and more. It was what William learned with the guidance of his mentors and peers that separates him from the rest. A true artist in the world of Hip-Hop William Gone found comfort using music to preoccupy his time as a child, raised by a single mother in the Soundview section of the Bronx-New York. Using what he witnessed as the motivation for his music. His rhymes can be considered expressions of his appreciation of life, community and love for his mother who taught William tough love, further encouraging him to peruse his dreams.

It is the same streets that William Refused to fall victim to that he honed his musical craft. Leading him to become member of the group Official Pham, William Gone was the first independent Hip-Hop artist to have a song featured on satellite TV’s Music Choice Channel. With the success of Official Pham gaining additional exposure when their music was aired on the season finale of “The Bernie Mac Show”, Still not satisfied William knew that his music was meant for world to enjoy and began to show his versatility as an independent artist with features on the Dance single “I am in heaven”, for Holly James; produced by famed Dance producer David Anthony (Janet Jackson, 3LW). His inconceivable ability to enhance the flavor on the track helped the single climb to the top of the charts in Europe. Continuing his success in Asia with a current feature on International Pop sensation Reenie’s number 1 single “Hey DJ”.

With no plans in the future of slowing down, William Gone continues to keep the streets hyped from numerous mix-tape collaborations including his “Maybach Series” hosted by DJ Vlad, with exclusive drops from Swizz Beats and Desert Storm. Gone’s music being featured on a host of mix-tapes with DJs Green Lantern (Hot97 FM), Rob E Rob, Black Jesus, Haze and Capcom from Black Wall Street, and international DJ Ophax. William Gone started WGMUSIC and with mulitiple projects dropping from DJ.Lexus and his second solo Mixtape CD entitled Connected 2.0 which showcases his camp as featured in The Source Magazine (FEB 2009 ISSUE) hosted by DJ.Warrior,Antlive and DJ.BigK from The Caliuntouchables.
